DUCO Switches (32A to 100A) are On-load rotary switches. They Consists of a metal base plate, a simple switching mechanism and a number of contact blocks. The Switching mechanism consists of two strong leaf springs with a centrally pivoted specially designed cam rotating. DUCO switches can be used for controlling the incoming and outgoing feeder in distribution network, as well as in emergence switch in motor circuits and as a main switch. DUMECO Switches (125A to 1000A) consist of a set of moving and fixed contacts totally enclosed in a SMC housing of a non-tracking, heat resistance insulating material. The switches are highly compact in design and offer the advantage of front operation. Notwithstanding the compactness, the switches have a high breaking capacity and are very cool in running i.e. they have a very low temperature rise.
